New item type: image matrix

With the image matrix, you can create questions where participants are presented with one or more multiple choice questions arranged in rows. The specificity of this item type is that the answer options are images instead of text.

Better control of the item font size

QTI 2.1 Import

With the new support for QTI 2.1 import, you can now seamlessly transfer assessments from other platforms that utilize the latest QTI standard, thus simplifying the migration process.

AI-powered PDF Import

This innovative feature automatically converts your PDFs into assessmentQ items, saving you valuable time and effort. As it’s still in beta, so we encourage you to provide feedback as you explore this new feature.

Extended AI-powered distractor generation

Up to now, the AI-powered distractor generator (beta feature) for multiple choice questions used the question and the answer to generate distractors, but this did not always give the desired results immediately.

With the launch of assessmentQ 2024.05, the automatic distractor generation has become a lot more powerful. As an author, you can now refine the generated distractors according to your needs.
