1. Take full control with Advanced Scheduling

Running large-scale, high-stakes exams is unforgiving. Multiple versions, different timelines, last-minute changes… With Advanced Scheduling, you can now manage everything in one place, at the level of each participant.

You decide:

  • Which assignment each participant receives
  • When they can access it
  • When they can review their results

This means: no more juggling with multiple schedules or workarounds. Just one clear, flexible schedule that adapts to your needs.

2. Sign-in codes for Advanced Scheduling

Advanced schedules can now use sign-in codes, giving you the same flexibility as access codes but in a more streamlined setup. This feature is fully supported by the assessmentQ API, making it easy to integrate into your own systems.

3. See exactly what’s happening in your item bank

Staying on top of your items is crucial for quality and compliance. Now, when you create or review an assignment, you can:

  • Instantly see if any items are no longer approved in the item bank.
  • Display the original item status directly in your overview.
  • Spot warnings right where they matter: in the item list, even in read-only mode.

This means fewer surprises and more confidence that every assignment you deliver is up to date and ready to go.

4. Other improvements

  • PDF exports: Sorting data in the UI is now reflected in your PDF exports. Sort once, and your PDF follows your order, making it easier to share clear, structured results with colleagues or stakeholders.
  • Media file names: Hover over a file in your item editor to see its file name – no more guessing which file is which.
  • Password rules: The special characters you can use to set a password manually are now fully aligned with API rules, making password management simpler.

These improvements give you more control, clarity, and confidence across the entire assessment process.
